I have a UZZ31 Toyota Soarer V8, with the following mods:
- Stock intake cams, 264 deg exhaust cams
- Ported heads
- Short runner intake manifold
- Twin KKR330 turbos pushing 10psi
It gets around Wakefield Park in 1:07, and Phillip Island in 1:51.
I heard about Adaptronic through the grapevine. A few guys told me about it and sent me some YouTube clips of the adaptive tuning at work. I chose to go with Adaptronic because it’s an Australian product, competitive price & has a good reputation for support.
Initially I was running a piggyback fuelling ECU and the results weren’t great. The Adaptronic improved the drivablility & fuel consumption massively. It also gave me the flexibility to easily change from tuning using TPS when I was running individual throttle bodies to MAP tuning when the turbos were installed.
Apart from the extensive features, what really impresses me has been the help, support & seemly boundless knowledge of the Adaptronic team.
