
Injector Dynamics is a Strategic Alliance between Yaw Power Products and T1 Race Development and was created to bring Yawpower’s dynamic injector characterization technology to the public.
Production and Engineering is handled by Yawpower at their Phoenix Arizona facility while sales, distribution, and customer support is handled by T1 in Rowlett Texas.
Injector Dynamics is the market leader when it comes to injector characterization and this translates to a more consistent tune for the driver. The other thing that makes ID injectors different from the rest is that during short pulses, the ID injectors are overdamped. This means that their behaviour is predictable. On other injectors, the pintle oscillates which makes the fuel delivery inconsistent with short pulses.
Injector Dynamics fuel injectors are the result of batch testing large quantities of specially modified fuel injectors and then carefully matching them into sets based on their dynamic flow across the pulsewidth range. The result is vastly superior cylinder to cylinder consistency even at very low pulsewidths.
In addition to receiving tightly matched injectors, customers will be provided with dead time compensation values across the entire pressure and voltage range of the injector. This data will ensure that the compensations in your ECU work properly and your air fuel ratios will remain consistent as atmospheric or voltage conditions change.
Adaptronic ECUs have fully implemented the characterization for the ID1000 injector dead times and flow rates for various battery voltages, fuel pressures and short pulses in the injector’s non-linear range and we’ll soon be doing the same for the other injectors in the range.
When ordering, please specify either which car/engine you are ordering the injectors for. You should also specify the length distance between the top and bottom O-rings and the top O-ring diameter (14mm or 11mm).
