Tuff Tune, one of our dealers on the Central Coast in NSW, Australia, has just won the dyno competition at Powercruise in Sydney 2013, in the 6 cylinder forced induction class. Their 2JZGTE JZA80 Supra made 685 horsepower at the wheels, taking out the class. Congratulations!
The engine runs an Adaptornic e420d ECU using the factory wiring but the built-in MAP sensor on the ECU, and even the factory ignition system, at 30 psi of boost. Engine modifications include a set of 1000cc injectors, a big Precision turbocharger, HKS camshafts and a built bottom end.
