Notes:
For the V8 Soarer / Lexus SC400, we make the following recommendations:
1. If you intend upgrading the ignition system, the factory ignitor can not allow the ignition pulses to overlap, which might present dwell limitations at high RPM. Therefore we recommend converting to separate coils with built-in ignitors, and running them wasted spark.
2. If you’re doing your own tuning, we recommend adding a wideband lambda sensor.

Also see lower cost option, e420d. The functions you lose with the e420d, compared to the e440d, are:
1. No flex fuel function.
2. No adaptive tuning function.

There is also a more flexible option, the e1280s. The major benefits are:
1. No dwell time limiation on direct fire ignition systems (still limited by factory ignitor though).
2. Fully sequential injection.
3. Completely flexible configuration.
However there is no patch loom available so it will need to be wired in.
