Becky’s Drag Run

Adaptronic_Bubble_14_second_pass_WSID_2010-01-20

This was the first run of the night on 20th Jan 2010. This pass was a 14.666 second. My best of the night was 14.246 seconds, with an MPH of 103 and a 60 foot of about 2.4 seconds. If you listen you can hear the clutch slip in 4th gear. The clutch is already an Exedy heavy duty one.

This is using the Adaptronic E1280s Super ECU to control ignition, fuel, boost, idle and so on. The engine is a B5 DOHC turbo running about 1 bar of boost, 3″ exhaust and variable cam gears. It made 127 kW on the MRC dyno in this configuration, which isn’t too bad for a shopping trolley 1.5.
